It is a known fact amongst Filipinos that nowadays pageant is just part of any barangay, municipal, city celebration. As Philippines has the most number of fiesta's I am confident that it would also have the most number of pageants. I myself had been joining different pageants during my college life. It was fun during those times but stressful as well.
To other's joining a pageant is an experience of a lifetime, others would say it is their bread and butter and others would be their stepping stones to enter the glitz and glamour of showbizness.
After the sweet victory back to back victory of Venus Raj and Shamcey Supsup Miss Universe 2010 Fourth Runner up and Miss Universe 2011 Third Runner Up respectively. This year has been a tremendous and victorious year for all Philippine delegates in the international pageantry scene.

Just recently November 2 2012, Kevin Balot was crowned as Miss Queen International 2012 in Pataya Thailand. He is the first ever Filipino who bags the crown of the said competition.

Followed by June Macasaet who also brought home the title of Manhunt International 2012 last November 9 2012 at Siam Square in Bangkok Thailand besting 52 other models coming from different part of the globe.

Just last night Miss Stephany Stefanowitz, a representative of the Philippines at the Miss Earth 2012 pageant help at Versailles Palace in Alabang Muntinlupa crowned as Miss Earth Air. The other winners are Tereza Fajksová of Czech Republic who brings home the title of MISS EARTH 2012, Osmariel Villalobos of Venezuela is Miss Earth Water 2012 and Camila Brant of Brazil is Miss Earth Fire 2012

Also yesterday Andrew James Penaflorida WOLFF or better known as Andrew Wolff, a member of The Philippine Volcanoes (Philippine Rugby Team) represented the Philippines in MR WORLD 2012 the male counterpart of the Ms World Beauty Pageant. Andrew was pre-selected by Cory Quirino. He will be bringing home the MR World 2012 Second Runner Up title.
The pressure is on for Miss Janine Tugonon who will be representing the Philippines in the upcoming Miss Universe 2012.
