If you are planning to do mountaineering I am totally suggesting you try Mount Pulag. Since Mount Pulag is the second highest mountain in the Philippines please expect that temperature there could go to as low as -5 degrees Celsius.
Also, please make sure to listen to your tour guide.
To preserve the beauty of the place here are some rules that we need to follow:
- Bring thick clothes and appropriate camping gear.
- Do not pick wild flowers, bonsai plants, or even animals that you see around the mountain. It is great to see these wonders of nature but they are only as good for taking picture and not bringing them home.
- Bring back your garbages. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR GARBAGE IN THE MOUNTAIN. I also suggest that we don't burn our garbages in the mountain.
- Be a responsible back packers.
